St. Joseph Children and Youth Faith Formation Registration

September 16th - September 17th, 2017

$0 - $145

The Faith Formation Team is excited to jump into a new school year wtih you and your children. We have lots of new and exciting things planned for the 2017-2018 school year.

It is through the next generation that St. Joseph Parish in Cockeysville, Maryland will become a welcoming, diverse, vibrant, and authentic parish that will be a beacon of Christian witness to Northern Baltimore County and beyond.

To help reach this vision, St. Joseph Catholic Parish offers relationaly-based ministry to help children and teenagers learn more about their Catholic faith and a relationship with God. The way we do that is through our programs detailed below:

Faith Formation (Pre-K through Grade 5)

Traditional (Classroom Setting)--Saturday 5:30 to 6:45pm;

Contemporary (Large & Small Group Settings)--Sunday 10:15 to 11:30am

Our Faith Formation is for children who want to learn more about a God who loves them and a Church that will help them get to know Him.

Children in faith formation (Pre-K through Grade 5) have the option to sign up for Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

For more information regarding Faith Formation, please contact Marie Lybolt at

Edge (Middle School) -- Grades 6 through 8

Sunday 5:00 to 7:00pm

At Edge teens will learn more about their Catholic faith and identity in Christ through engaging activities and meaningful relationships.

While we want to help younger generations grow in their relationship with Christ, this program is open to all teens, no matter their beliefs.

For more information regarding EDGE, please contact Chris Wesley at

The Underground (High School) -- Grades 9 through 12

Sunday 5:00 to 7:00pm

At The Underground, high school students will form relationships with their peers and adults who want to help them discover God's purpose for their life and the role they can play in the local and universal Church.

While we want to help younger generations grow in their relationship with Christ, this program is open to all teens, no matter their beliefs.

Big Day To Serve

November 12th, 2017

Did you know God created you for a purpose? The reason you walk this earth is because God has greatness planned for you and we want to help you discover it.

On November 12th from 5pm - 7pm we're inviting all middle and high school students to join us for our Big Day To Serve. During this event teens will:

  • Discover their leadership wiring
  • Dig into the character that makes them great
  • Dive into the passions that God has put inside of each of them

We will then discuss the many ways teenagers can serve inside the parish and take the next steps to make that happen.
